CPLD was appointed to design the offices of Halkidon Shipping Corporation in Peiraeus Greece.

The scope of works included the interior lighting of all areas, including open plan offices, meeting rooms and executive offices.

Open Space lighting was provided from ceiling integrated linear LEDs, while linear track has been used to illuminate the corridor linking both sides of the office. Ceiling sensors were carefully located not only to adjust lighting levels according to external conditions but also to detect presence and automatically set the system in a stand-by mode in case of human absence.

The dark walls in the reception area helped in creating a dramatic entrance, while the suspended light above the reception provided functional lighting for the desk.
