Situated between Business Bay and the Arabian Gulf, Dubai Water Canal project directly connects the Business Bay to The Golf and the Safa Park to Jumeirah Beach Park. The project was designed to address the needs of both locals and tourists aiming at the creation of an environmental infrastructure that will become an enticing attraction, namely an international marketing icon of Dubai.

CPLD created a masterplan lighting of the entire project including the lighting of the over 7km interactive boardwalk, plazas, water taxi stations, 3no. footbridges and vehicular bridges, that sets out the night-time identity for the entire district.

The project was completed in 2016 and was short listed multiple times as the best large scale exterior project from international award competion for its innovation and unique character.

Along with the regeneration part, CPLD was appointed to design both Safa A & Safa B mixed use residential & leisure buildings adjacent to the Dubai water canal in order to create a unique experience for the residence and visitors.

Project consisting of 11 building between G+8 and G+12 floors with podiums used for various amenities (pools, restaurants, etc..) and an enclosed air-conditioned arcade of the ground level.

Both residential developments are currently under construction.
